Chapter 14 At FAEMA, I Discovered the Soul of Espresso

At FAEMA, I had the opportunity to connect my technical curiosity with my love of people. I began by installing and adjusting professional espresso machines and soon discovered that good coffee did not depend on the machine alone. The grind, the water, the temperature, and above all the care of the person behind the counter determined the result together.

Those years taught me to look and listen more carefully. A problem that seemed large could sometimes be solved with one small, precise adjustment. I also learned that trust does not arise from fine words, but from being there when a customer needs you.

Later I returned to FAEMA for a time, this time as a salesman. That experience became an important step toward entrepreneurship. What remained above all was my respect for craftsmanship and my conviction that a product gains value only when it truly helps people.
